First of all, welcome back to Willow Valley, and thanks to all the wonderful people who encouraged us during these difficult times! We’ve been open for a few weeks now, and everything has been running smoothly under the new guidelines in effect for the COVID-19 outbreak. If you haven’t read our new guidelines, be sure to click the link above. We thought we would reiterate some of the rules to consider when planning your round, to make things clear. Feel free to send any suggestions or concerns to info@willowvalleygolf.com
Planning ahead for your tee-time is now more important than ever! We urge you to call the pro shop to book your tee-time, or head to this link to book online. Unfortunately we can’t accommodate walk-in golfers at this time. Be sure to be patient at the pro-shop, and be aware of your surroundings when you arrive. Keep a safe, 2 metre distance from other golfers & course staff, and please respect the one golfer at a time rule in the pro shop. Please plan on arriving at the course no earlier than 15 minutes before your tee-time.
We have limited availability of sanitized pull-carts, so if you have one, please bring your own. As for power-carts, we have been operating with a single-rider policy for the first few weeks. Dividing screens have now been installed in all our carts to allow two riders per cart while maintaining a sanitary barrier between them. All carts are sanitized after each use.
As far as food and drink is concerned, our patio will be open and we are still accepting take-out orders! Call to place your order at (905)-679-2703. We will be sending out our beverage cart daily. We ask that you are respectful of safe distancing when it comes to all staff interactions, whether it’s on the patio, with a marshal or with our beverage cart operator. Clubhouse restrooms will be closed, but restrooms on the course are open and sanitized daily on holes #5, #10 and #14. Sanitization stations are available at each restroom, and at the entrance to pro-shop.
Thank you in advance for all these considerations when planning your round! We will be following this post up with a reminder about course etiquette, and some of the major changes you will notice while playing your round at Willow Valley during the outbreak. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding during these difficult times.
Stay safe, and enjoy your next round at Willow Valley!
