Our Blog post about Planning Your Round During COVID-19
We’ve made some minor changes to the course to do our part in flattening the curve, and ensure that both our staff, and you, our customers are safe and healthy. We thought we would also take this opportunity to remind everyone of some proper course etiquette, while explaining our course changes.
On arrival at the course (no more than 15 minutes before your tee-time) you’ll notice a few things we’ve changed. The only garbage disposal bins available are in the parking lot or at restrooms. We have designated sanitation stations at each washroom and at the pro-shop. Be aware of your surroundings upon arrival at the course, and be respectful of social distancing to both our staff, and all other patrons at the course, even your own playing partners. Always maintain a minimum of a 2 metre distance from everyone. We do not have ball washers out on the course, so remember to bring a towel.
We urge everyone to be punctual with their tee-times. Our marshals are doing their best to keep all the groups moving with the increased course traffic. We ask that all our customers are respectful of all common course etiquette practices. Replace all your divots, and please repair any ball marks on the greens. Our limited staff is working around the clock to keep the course in proper condition and your help is greatly appreciated.
We will not have bunker rakes out on the course, so do your best to cause as little disruption to the bunkers as possible when entering and exiting. When you reach the greens you will notice a “no-touch” flag system in place. It’s a little bit different than a standard hole and flag system, but we think it’s a good solution to keep things sanitary. Again, be mindful of social distancing on the greens and don’t touch your playing partner’s equipment, or ball.
All rules of play and etiquette guidelines will be enforced by our marshals, and we ask that you are respectful of their directions, and their space. We’re ecstatic to be able to provide a beautiful place for local golfers to enjoy a round, and we appreciate all our customers being respectful and patient while we navigate the new COVID-19 restrictions.
