of Instruction

Steve joins the team at Core as Director of Instruction after a 28 year career.

His first experience as a coach was at Tulsa University, where as a player and
teammate of Hank Haney, he was twice named to the Missouri Valley All Conference Team. Steve turned professional in 1982 and spent the next 11 years playing the Australian, Asian and Canadian tours. His highlights include 15 top 10's, 10 top 5's, 5 Canadian Open appearances making the cut in 1986 and competing in the 1988 U.S. Open at The Country Club. His career low score is 58, a Canadian record he shares with the late Moe Norman.

While coaching full time for the past 18 years, Steve won the Ontario P.G.A. twice and the Canadian Assistant's Championship. He has served as a Senior Instructor for 5 academies, is a certified SwingLink fitness coach and a Level 4 PuttingZone coach. For the last 10 years, Steve has been the Head Coach for
the Mississauga Special Olympics.
